DUBAI – The Global Village is set to mark a major milestone in 2026 as it opens its gates during Eid Al Adha for the first time in 13 years.

The popular Dubai destination, known for its seasonal outdoor experience, will align its closing period with the festive holiday week as its landmark 30th season draws to a close on May 31. The development brings a rare opportunity for visitors to celebrate Eid within one of the UAE’s most visited cultural attractions.

The announcement comes as the venue prepares a full-scale programme designed to transform the park into a vibrant Eid celebration space. From illuminated décor to cultural showcases, the destination will be filled with festive energy across every corner, offering families and tourists an extended holiday experience.

Festive nights

Eid evenings at Global Village will be highlighted by the return of the Al Mandoos Live Game Show, taking place on May 27 and 28 at 9pm on the Main Stage.

Hosted by Abdulla Esmaeel, the show will feature interactive games and crowd participation, adding an energetic layer to the celebrations. The programme is designed to keep visitors engaged throughout the night with entertainment spread across the venue.

Cultural escape

More than 90 cultural pavilions will showcase traditional Eid fashion, gifts and handcrafted products from around the world. Visitors will be able to explore abayas and jalabiyas from the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait pavilions, while India offers vibrant fabrics and textiles.

Africa and Morocco bring natural soaps, oils and skincare items, alongside Korean beauty products, Syrian pantry staples and Turkish home décor pieces. The experience brings global traditions together under one festive setting.

Eid offers

Global Village has introduced a range of special deals for the Eid period, including an unlimited Carnaval rides pass priced at Dh99.

Entry tickets are available from Dh25 to Dh30, with a special 4-for-1 counter offer bringing the cost down to Dh30 for four tickets, or Dh7.50 per person.

Children under three, senior citizens above 65, and People of Determination with one companion will continue to enjoy free entry with valid identification.

Family moments

The destination will also continue its tradition of celebrating young visitors, with 100 lucky children set to receive special Eid gifts during the first three days of the holiday. Across its dining spaces, more than 250 food options will be available, ranging from street food to full-service restaurants across areas such as Restaurant Plaza, Floating Market, Happiness Street and Fiesta Street.
